Dawn Almas
Dawn joined RPCC in September 2001. Prior to coming to RPCC, she was the director of a large non-profit child care center serving 150 children from infants to kindergartners. Dawn started her career as a classroom teacher where she worked with toddler and preschool children for four years. She has also served as an assistant director. Dawn holds a degree in Early Childhood Education from Aquinas College and is the proud mother of three children; 12- and three-year-old sons and a two-year-old daughter.
"Dawn's sensitive nature and experience in counseling families in crisis provided us with a hand-up after a tragic loss in our family. Ali has been very happy and content at Roger's Pierce. He has made many friends and has shown so much socio-emotional and intellectual growth since he started in the summer of 2006. The teacher's have shown such sincerity and provided both outreach and tremendous resources to our family. Both Ali and I have developed close, personal bonds with many of the staff at RPCC." - Betty
